or is there absolutely NO sympathy for the cold hearted “wheelers and dealers” who “bet” on the prospects of a companies share price going down, anf they caught a massive and costly cold!
I have speculated for some time that these people have been responsible for driving the market price down, regardless of the impact it has on others, whether it jobs, loss if investment and pensions, all for their individual greed.
What’s more, how did they get caught out on Porsche buying in to VW? even I knew that they had been increasing the share holding, what did they think they were going to do about it?
It is about time the UK Government followed the US and made this activity illegal.
If it was not for the fact that us normal everyday citizens of this great country will end up picking up the cost of this error at the end of the day, it would be funny!

or has RB and JS been made scapegoats for poor BBC management and practice?
While I did not hear the broadcast, well I wouldn’t seen as I don’t rate Brand, having read the transcript I have to say that the pair were well out of order. That said, as it was a pre-recorded program WHO having listened to what is nothing else but lewd offensive tripe, sanctioned it to be broadcast?
Lets face it, JR we know can sometimes slighlty over-step the line of decency, but having been led by the cretin known as RB, they jumped well over and missed the target of “humour” by some distance.
Back to the BBC, if this is the best that they can come up with as a program, then lets stop the future employment of Brand and put on repeats of previously funny and interesting broadcasts from bygone years.
If heads do role, and while I would make Brand number 1 on the list, i believe controllers or managers at the BBC should be ahead of Ross on the potential list of casualties.
